BD Diesel has been building diesel performance hardware in Abbotsford, British Columbia since 1972, and now runs an 80,000 sq ft component overhaul and manufacturing plant with a dedicated 15,000 sq ft CNC machine shop and a team of more than 170. The in-house engineering groups aim at chronic OE failure points rather than peak numbers, and the divisions map onto the truck: turbochargers designed and overhauled in-house, transmissions and torque converters modelled in CAD and FEA, cast-iron and stainless manifolds, steering and suspension parts for light- to heavy-duty trucks, and electronic controls. BD is a factory-certified specialist for Bosch, Stanadyne, Delphi and Denso diesel fuel systems and runs one of North America's few Bosch Common Rail labs. It is part of the Burnout Brands group.
