CSF began in 1947, when three brothers and their father opened a small automotive parts shop that grew into a radiator repair garage and then into their own radiator manufacturing facility. The CSF brand was formally established in 1975 and was the first to bring import applications into the American aftermarket as Honda, Datsun and Toyota vehicles began appearing on U.S. roads. Now a fourth-generation family business — the fourth generation joined in 2009 — CSF has sold more than 40 million cooling systems worldwide and builds in three privately owned, ISO 9001/9002-certified factories with full in-house tool rooms. Its Racing & High Performance Division engineers the cores it sells: "B-Tube" technology raises tube heat-transfer surface area by roughly 15% over conventional round tubes, cores are batch-brazed in CSF's own digital vacuum ovens, end tanks are joined with master-class TIG welding, and finished parts are wind-tunnel tested for airflow and salt-spray tested for durability.
