AlphaRex backs the products it manufactures with a two-year manufacturer warranty that starts on the date of purchase, covering defects in design and manufacturing only. You must be the original owner and show proof of purchase or proof of product registration when you claim. Every warranty return needs a Return Authorization and RMA number obtained from AlphaRex Customer Service (888-924-5888 or support@alpharexusa.com) — returns sent without one are not processed, and the product must come back in its original packaging box. AlphaRex pays the freight on a warranty return provided the defective product is sent back within 90 days of delivery; after that the freight is prepaid by you. As the exclusive remedy AlphaRex will, at its option, repair or replace the product or issue credit, and where an identical part is no longer made it may substitute a similar product of comparable value. Proof of the defect — detailed photographs — must accompany the claim, and the defective unit is normally returned and inspected before a replacement ships. Water leaks under normal, unmodified use are covered; condensation, submersion from severe off-road use, and moisture caused by an HID/LED light-source conversion without proper weather protection are not, and AlphaRex specifically warns against using dielectric or weather-sealing grease on connectors or sockets. Installation errors, labor and installation expenses, vehicle down time, wear and tear, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents and any modification are excluded. Where an authorized reseller cannot fulfil a claim, AlphaRex also operates an Advance Replacement programme: a deposit is taken for the replacement unit and refunded once the defective unit is received and inspected, and the old unit must be returned within 30 days or the deposit is kept as payment.
