Minimize wheelhop and enhance the rear stability of your 2015 and newer S550 Mustang by eliminating rear lower control arm bushing deflection with a set of Lower Control Arm Spherical Bearings from BMR Suspension. The stock rubber bushings are great for absorbing NVH, but do little for performance. The large spherical bearings in BMR's rear Lower Control Arm Spherical Bearing Kit simply eliminate bushing deflection, transferring power instead of absorbing it. BMR Suspension's rear Lower Control Arm Spherical Bushings (BK081) drastically decreases lower control arm movement by eliminating deflection of the factory rubber bushings. BMR uses heavy-duty 1-inch spherical bearings in machined bearing cups to replace the factory rubber bushings. The cup and bearing assembly presses into the lower control arms. CNC-machined billet aluminum spacers complete the assembly. This allows for a perfect fit and increased performance for any driving style. The 1-inch bearing in the BK081 has an impressive load rating of 82,800-pounds and has a center ball diameter of 1.5-inches. This bearing is one of the most commonly used 1-inch spherical bearings in the industry, with an impressive track record.
Designed for street performance, drag race, and handling applications, BMR Suspension BK081 Lower Control Arm Spherical Bushing Kit is the perfect wheelhop solution for any S550 Mustang being used for performance driving. BMR's Lower Control Arm Spherical Bushings Kit offers huge increases in performance over the stock rubber lower control arm bushings. The OE bushings are designed with air pockets and are made from soft rubber. These "voids", coupled with soft material produce excessive lower control arm movement during normal and aggressive driving. BMR's Lower Control Arm Spherical Bushings kit installs in place of the OE rubber bushing, nearly eliminating lower control arm movement by solidly linking the rear portion of the lower control arm to the cradle. This eliminates almost all lower control arm movement, reducing wheelhop and increases handling stability, while giving you a much improved overall feel in any performance driving situation.
BMR Suspension's BK081 Lower Control Arm Spherical Bearings are available in a durable silver zinc finish. Installation time is about 2-3 hours. Proudly made in the U.S.A.!

Manufacturer's Warranty — BMR Suspension
BMR Suspension warrants its products to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for two (2) years from the date of sale. BMR's obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement of the product — reinstallation and other incidental costs are not covered — and warranty claims are limited to replacement or credit for returned merchandise. The warranty does not apply to products that have been misused, neglected, altered, damaged or improperly installed, and normal wear is not considered a defect. Impact damage and damage to powder coat are specifically excluded. An RMA is required for all warranty returns; replacement product ships at no charge via UPS Ground, and upgraded shipping is available at the customer's expense for the difference in cost. BMR products are designed for use with OEM and other BMR products — BMR does not warrant fitment with aftermarket products from other manufacturers, including suspension, exhaust, drivetrain or other aftermarket components; returns due to fitment issues with OEM or BMR products receive a full refund, while returns due to fitment issues with another manufacturer's aftermarket parts are subject to a 15% restocking fee. BMR also states that racing parts and equipment are used under varied conditions, that the suitability of any part for a particular application is solely the purchaser's decision, and that BMR makes no warranties, express, implied or written, and that there is no warranty of merchantability; BMR reserves the right to change designs without obligation to modify previously manufactured units, and the buyer agrees to indemnify and hold BMR harmless from any claim arising from installation or use. Separately from warranty, non-warranty returns must be made within 90 days of shipment and carry a 15% restocking fee (shipping costs excluded): items that have been installed, used, modified or damaged are not accepted, everything must come back in its original packaging with an RMA and freight prepaid (collect shipments are refused), any scratch or damage is deducted at the cost to repair or re-powder coat, missing components are deducted at replacement cost, and special order items cannot be returned.
Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer and may change. Full details and claims are handled directly by BMR Suspension. Contact us if you need help with a warranty claim.
