This system is equipped with a "Sound Suppressing Valve" simulator which ELIMINATES the valve. This avoids any warning lights on the dash while providing maximum flow at all times. System features BORLA®'s Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology which utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound to the BORLA® mufflers. The mufflers then enhance this sound to the character and volume appropriate for our Touring, S-Type and ATAK® systems. This system also features a black chrome finish on T-304 stainless steel tips. Using BORLA® Stainless Steel Polish p# 21499 is NOT recommended with these black chrome tips. We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. Manufacturer's Warranty — Borla
Borla warrants its products to the original purchaser, for the vehicle on which they were first installed, against defects in materials and workmanship with its Million-Mile Warranty (one million miles, or 1.6 million kilometers in Canada). Black coatings, tip finishes, carbon fiber and moving parts, including valves and actuators, are covered for one year, and EV products are covered for 2 years from purchase. The warranty applies to Borla street-legal products only: XR-1 Raceline and marine products, racing products and street products used for racing are not covered, and sound level is not a warranty issue. Also excluded are appearance blemishes from weather, road hazards, lack of maintenance or extreme heat or cold; damage from accident, abuse, misuse or modification; welding to a universal muffler’s shell or end caps (attach only at the inlet and outlet nipples); and removal or reinstallation costs. Coverage is limited to repair or replacement at Borla’s option after Borla inspects the returned part. Products sold outside the USA and Canada carry a 3-year limited warranty.
