It achieves this by only opening the center carburetor at less than 50% (or 33%) pedal travel thus sharpening the venturi signal and eliminating the bottom end bog found in traditional multiple carburetor setups that open simultaneously. This kit can also be installed in a non-progressive configuration, if so desired, or can progressively operate a dual two-barrel carburetor configuration.- Due to the need for making fine adjustments and inspections, Edelbrock recommends installing the carburetors and linkage kit prior to installing the manifold on the engine. If you have another make or model of manifold, it may be necessary to alter some of the details of this installation.

Edelbrock warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, except where a product line carries different terms: Performer Series carburetors and Race Division parts are covered for 90 days, Thunder Series AVS carburetors for one year, remanufactured carburetors for 30 days, and E-Force superchargers for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Use of E85 fuel voids carburetor coverage. Racing or competition use, marine use unless the part is listed for marine applications, modification, improper installation or maintenance and excessive wear are excluded, and installation and removal costs are not covered. Claims are made through the place of purchase or directly with Edelbrock with proof of purchase; Pro-Flo EFI systems, crate engines, E-Force superchargers and cylinder heads are returned directly to Edelbrock.
