Like AVS2 street carbs, the AVS2 Off-Road features an annular ring with eight orifices that replaces the standard single brass tube (down-leg) fuel feed. The AVS2 Off-Road booster ring distributes fuel into the airflow stream with an even spray that eliminates flat spots and greatly improves throttle response in the low- to mid-RPM range without sacrificing top-end power. The AVS2 Off-Road is unaffected by engine backfires since there are no power valves to blow out.

The remedy is repair or replacement of the part, and installation and removal costs are not covered. Use of E85 fuel voids the carburetor warranty. Edelbrock warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, except where a product line carries different terms: Performer Series carburetors and Race Division parts are covered for 90 days, Thunder Series AVS carburetors for one year, remanufactured carburetors for 30 days, and E-Force superchargers for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Use of E85 fuel voids carburetor coverage. Racing or competition use, marine use unless the part is listed for marine applications, modification, improper installation or maintenance and excessive wear are excluded, and installation and removal costs are not covered. Claims are made through the place of purchase or directly with Edelbrock with proof of purchase; Pro-Flo EFI systems, crate engines, E-Force superchargers and cylinder heads are returned directly to Edelbrock.
