GrimmSpeed warranties GrimmSpeed branded products to the original retail purchaser, for parts manufactured by GrimmSpeed or sold under the GrimmSpeed brand and bought from GrimmSpeed or an authorised GrimmSpeed dealer, with a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship. Components made by other manufacturers that form part of an assembly — a turbocharger, a blow-off valve and the like — are excluded, and GrimmSpeed branded turbocharger upgrades (such as the Chase JB400 and Overtake BB500) carry their own 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, on which excess boost, improper installation and missing or incorrect ECU calibration are grounds for denial. On a verified defect GrimmSpeed will repair, replace or issue credit at its discretion; the warranty is limited to replacement or repair of the defective part and does not cover labour, shipping, vehicle downtime or other losses. The warranty is void on any product used in racing or off-road applications of any nature, and on products showing abuse, lack of maintenance, improper installation, misapplication or alteration from GrimmSpeed's original design. It does not cover minor cosmetic inconsistencies from the manufacturing process (anodising and moulding variation, mould parting lines), damage from accident, negligence or improper care, parts that were in contact with fuel, oil or other fluids, parts exposed to prolonged heat, or normal wear and tear — dents, scratches, heat discolouration on exhaust components, flex-section wear and fatigue cracking over time. Thermal coatings, heat wrap, insulation or any covering not intended by GrimmSpeed can void the warranty. Damage that is not covered may still be quoted for repair or a reduced-price replacement. Claims must be opened with GrimmSpeed before anything is shipped back: contact support@grimmspeed.com or (612) 379-0000 with proof of purchase, current contact details, a description and detailed photos of the issue, the install date and the name of the installer. An RMA number is issued and must be marked on the package; return shipping is pre-paid and insured by the sender, and no replacement is shipped until the original part has been returned and inspected. Claims are not accepted on modified parts. GrimmSpeed also notes that parts it installs or supplies may void portions of a vehicle's factory warranty, and that it cannot be held responsible for factory warranty compliance.
