DR-97 disc brake pads are specifically designed for use in drag racing applications with aluminum rotors, and suit specialty calipers running low-to-medium deceleration rates. The compound delivers an excellent static and dynamic coefficient of friction with smooth linear torque and low pad and rotor wear. DR-97 is a medium torque race material with a working range of 100 to 900 degrees Fahrenheit and an optimal temperature range of 100 to 700 degrees Fahrenheit.
