The Kompact Shortie Blow-Off Valve for the Focus RS has been developed with the Focus's high boost pressure in mind to improve performance and durability. Plastic OEM blow-off valves like those on the RS have a track record of failures - they leak and become brittle with age until they eventually crack, causing serious problems. Producing around 23 PSI of boost pressure in standard form, the Focus is already pushing the boundaries of its standard plastic blow-off valve - and there's not much room to turn the boost up before the standard valve struggles to keep up.

Turbosmart warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase (or the regional legal minimum, whichever is greater). Coverage applies to products bought from a Turbosmart Authorized Dealer; a dated proof of purchase and a Return Authorization Number are required for any claim. If a product is found defective, Turbosmart will repair or replace it at its discretion — this is the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy, and special, incidental, or consequential damages are excluded. Damage from misuse or abnormal use is not covered. Beyond the standard warranty, Turbosmart's goodwill Fair Go Policy may help with issues that fall just outside standard terms — contact Turbosmart to review your options.
