Manufacturer's Warranty — Walbro

TI Automotive, which builds Walbro-branded automotive fuel pumps, does not publish a consumer warranty statement — its aftermarket site has no warranty or returns page. The only first-party document is its Aftermarket Terms of Sale, a business-to-business agreement written for distributors rather than retail buyers, so the terms named there do not transfer to a consumer purchase and we do not quote a period. What that document does establish is the shape of the coverage: parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use, and the remedy is repair, replacement or credit at the manufacturer's discretion rather than a refund. It also states that the obligation does not extend to high-performance products beyond factory defects. Coverage is excluded where a part has been subjected to misuse, negligence, accident, or improper maintenance, storage, installation or application, and third-party components packaged with a part are not covered by it. Fuel pumps are wear items in service — contamination from a dirty tank or running a tank low is the most common cause of failure and is not a manufacturing defect. Contact PitStopTuning with your order number, a description of the fault and photos, and we will handle the claim for you.

Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer and may change. Contact us if you need help with a warranty claim.
