Wiseco Piston Company publishes a Limited Piston Warranty covering defects in material and workmanship for thirty (30) days from the date of original purchase. If Wiseco finds a product defective it will, at its option, repair or replace it at Wiseco's cost; products claimed to be defective must be returned to Wiseco postage prepaid within that 30-day period. Labor and other costs incidental to repair or replacement are not covered. Wiseco states that this limited warranty does not apply to any product used in a hi-performance application or in racing. Coverage also excludes misuse, mishandling, misapplication, neglect including improper maintenance, accident, improper installation, modification such as the use of unauthorized parts or attachments, and adjustment or repair performed by anyone other than Wiseco. Repair or replacement is the sole and exclusive remedy, and Wiseco excludes incidental and consequential damages including loss of use, income or profit. Any claim is waived unless submitted to Wiseco in writing within the earlier of fifteen (15) days after the purchaser discovered, or should reasonably have discovered, the claimed breach, or thirty (30) days after the date of original purchase. Products sold but not manufactured by Wiseco carry only their own manufacturer's warranty, if any. To file, call Wiseco for an RMA number on 800-321-1364 or 440-951-6600, label the returned part with its Wiseco part number, and enclose a copy of the invoice with the supplier's name and address as proof of purchase plus a brief description of the issue; Wiseco may ask for additional engine-related parts in order to evaluate the claim. Separately from the warranty, Wiseco accepts returns of shelf-stock products for up to 30 days from purchase for a refund excluding shipping, provided the product and packaging are in new condition — custom and Build-to-Order products are excluded, and all RMAs carry a 20% restocking fee. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
