Yukon offers its Y.E.S. Plan, a lifetime, comprehensive, no-questions-asked protection plan covering your gear set for as long as you own your vehicle. Key Features
- Thick gear set for 4.11 and down carrier
Fitment
- Fits the GM 14 axle
This part is sold by axle specification rather than by vehicle, so it is not listed under a Year/Make/Model fitment. One axle model appears on many different vehicles, and the same vehicle can be built with more than one axle. Match the axle model, gear ratio, spline count and dimensions in the table below to your own axle before ordering — the part number and the specification are exact.

Manufacturer's Warranty — Yukon Gear & Axle
Yukon Gear & Axle warrants to the original retail purchaser that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship, and the term is set by product line rather than by one figure for the whole catalogue. Ring & pinion gear sets, carriers, yokes, install kits (BK, MK, PK, YK), spider gear kits, tools and YP-series parts carry one (1) year; Positraction differentials carry one year and exclude premature clutch wear and abuse. Zip Lockers carry six (6) years and Grizzly Lockers one year, each with collateral parts and labor coverage up to $2,000 on the terms Yukon publishes. 1541H front and rear axles carry ten (10) years, while 4340 chromoly axles (YA W series), spools, Super Joints, YHC drive flanges, Hardcore locking hubs and Hardcore diff covers carry a Limited Lifetime warranty for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle the part was first installed in (not transferable). Coverage assumes the product was installed and maintained per Yukon instructions and not modified, abused or damaged in an accident, and Yukon may void the warranty on vehicles running tires larger than its Maximum Recommended Tire Size for that axle. On a verified defect Yukon will repair or replace the product at its choice. Labor, road service, loss of vehicle use and other incidental or consequential damages are excluded, as is axle damage caused by the failure of a non-Yukon component. Yukon also sells an optional Yukon Extended Service (Y.E.S.) plan that upgrades select products to lifetime coverage; it must be purchased within 30 days of ordering the Yukon product. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer and may change. Full details and claims are handled directly by Yukon Gear & Axle. Contact us if you need help with a warranty claim.
